  15. First I have to say thanks to all people mailing me about the XPatch, its
  16. have been more interrest for this patch than I thought. Such things helps
  17. one going on with a time assumpting thing like this patch. Thanks folks!

  19. However though, I am now been involved in a commercial project which I have
  20. to prior. I have been involved since November last year, but we didn't got
  21. the contract before now (Mars) so now I don't have much time to work on the
  22. patch (or other projects I would like to work on as well). That means that
  23. the patch will be delayed and I don't know for how long, sorry!

  25. BUT, I _am_ working on a developer kit for the patch so programmers can take
  26. advantages of the xpatch.library to make their programs look cool. The
  27. library will have all the features the main XPatch will have and they will be
  28. compatible with the patch when it arrives.

  30. For interrest on this developer kit send me a mail. NOTE: The kit is NOT
  31. finished either, but it will be available before the patch itself so please
  32. don't rush me.

  34. For those who don't know what the XPatch is, you should take a look at AmiNet
  35. and find the file XPatch_pre.lha (or the executable XwinDemo.lha). It will
  36. make your windows look like (modified) Motif X windows with extra features
  37. the normal intuition windows don't supply to day. It's however not a X11
  38. terminal emulator of any kind, just has the purpose of giving your windows a
  39. nice look.

  41. There is also problems with my Internet supplier which disables me to get the
  42. news from these newsgroups as well, so please e-mail me if you got questions.

  44. I am also trying to build a mailing list and need programmers to betatest the
  45. library when it is ready. Mail me if you think you are suitable. Preferable
  46. you should program assembler or/and C, but E, BASIC and Pascal programmers
  47. are welcome as well.
